After the stupendous success of the first two editions of the Get Set Parent Children’s Literature, Art and Music Festival in association with Vishwarang, we are back with the third edition which promises to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever before. Apart from the online version that is hosted every year on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, we make our grand debut this year of the festival as on-ground property – a 3-day family fiesta that aims to bring children & their parents, schools, authors & publishers, artists and musicians together for a larger than life visual, musical and hands-on experience, at the cultural and educational hub of Madhya Pradesh- Bhopal.
The previous two editions of the Get Set Parent-Children’s Literature, Art & Music Festival in association with Vishwarang featured some of India’s most beloved children’s authors, engaging workshops with some of the best artists in the country, and scintillating performances by world-class performers. Some of the noted names who were a part of the previous festivals include Ruskin Bond, Anand Neelakantan, Rohini Nilekani, the Shillong Chamber Choir, Subramaniam Academy of Performing Art (Kavita Krishnamurthy’s Academy), Subodh Kerkar (Museum of Goa) and many more. The previous festivals had grand events and they enjoyed a viewership of over 3 million views on YouTube, thereby becoming India’s biggest virtual literature, arts and musical event for children. Vishwarang, the partner organisation of GSP united over 15 million enthusiasts of Indian culture from across the globe and participants from 27 countries. We saw hundreds of performances and 10+ million views across our various platforms.
